@thecontrarianmoney: Copycat Panda Express Beef & Broccoli 🥦🥩 Tender beef, crisp broccoli, and a savory sauce that comes together in under 30 minutes. Cheaper and tastes better than the restaurant. Ingredients: -1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced -1 tablespoon cornstarch -3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar, divided -1 pound broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces -2 tablespoons cooking oil -1/4 teaspoon sesame oil -2 garlic cloves, minced -1 teaspoon ginger powder -2 tablespoons oyster sauce -2 tablespoons water -1 tablespoon brown sugar -1 tablespoon soy sauce -1 tablespoon cornstarch -2 teaspoons sesame seeds (optional) Instructions: 1. Add the sliced beef, cornstarch, and 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar into a resealable bag or bowl. Mix well and let it marinate for 20 minutes. 2. Steam the broccoli until tender but still crisp. A quick method is microwaving on a plate with a damp paper towel for about 2 minutes. 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, water, 1 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, and cornstarch until smooth. 4. Heat a wok or large skillet on high until very hot. Add the cooking oil and sesame oil. When it begins to ripple, add the steak. Sear for 1 minute per side, then remove. 5. Add the garlic and ginger to the pan and cook for 10 to 15 seconds until fragrant. Return the beef to the pan, add the broccoli, and pour in the sauce after re-stirring it to make sure the cornstarch hasn’t settled. 6. Toss everything together quickly until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli. Garnish with sesame seeds if you like, and serve hot over rice. #copycatrecipe #pandaexpress #beefandbroccoli #budgetmeals #DinnerIdeas
