there is a pigeon in our garden and he in a bad way ,can the medication I by help ? I dont want this little bird to suffer and people say dont remove canker as it can cause internal bleeding, can you please help me ?

Hey Alice, can I please ask about this virus, I rescued a young pigeon which turned out to have this illness. A wildlife bird rescue centre told me there was no way the bird would recover. I paid to see a bird specialist vet for further advice but he provided none other than to ask if I wanted the bird put to sleep based on diagnosis. On advice of rescue centre I made the decision to do so but this has always haunted me. Can pigeons survive this?? Rescue centre refused to take in the bird until it was proven healthy due to bird flu restrictions around 3 years ago
