They did you a favor cuz it’s more frustrating going through every step, waiting for a while, el notario ask tons of questions, read the whole document to you just to tell you at the very end that that power of attorney needs to be authenticated in El Salvador in very specific places otherwise is not valid! Who has the time to go through all of that! $60 por gusto!

busca un abogado salvadoreño en tu área, y el te puede hacer los poder que necesites yo asi lo e echo y sin ningún problema, te cobran 150 y solo llegas a firmar ya ellos tienen todo listo 30 minutes como máximo

I went to do something a few years ago and I have never done anything in the cosulado salvadoreño here is the USA so I was lost, I ask do I put like my name how I have it here or how it was in ES and the guy said from the door inside you are in El Salvador for the door out you are in the USA with a big attitude I was like so I can go and tell you f*ck you from outside with the door open and I won’t get in trouble since inside is another country? 🤣🤣🤣

I did a power of attorney letter there and it was really easy. first you need to have a lawyers letter of what the power of attorney is for and for whom it's for. once you have everything in writing, you take that with you, if online they don't have the description that it's for a power of attorney give them a call they'll be able to set up an appointment for you. or show up in person maybe they could tell you how or where to go online to make this appointment. they do a really good job and they don't charge a lot. I needed a power of attorney for inheritance property in El Salvador.
