There is no perfect time to start. Everyone starts from somewhere. I had 3000 followers when I started and I grew to 32,000 in about 15 months🤯 2. Focus on bringing value to an audience. Think about the creators you follow and ask yourself why you follow them. Are they funny? Inspirational? Informative? The truth is, people are selfish and you have to offer something to your audience to gain a following. 3. Qualify is everything! Stop filming on your front camera and you’re a good creator, invest in a light! Nobody wants to consume low quality content. Learn how to edit and establish an editing style. Whatever you do, make it quality. This might take lots of practice buts it’s so worth it. 4. Understand that this is very time consuming work. I work full time and do social media on the side. If done right, content creation came be a great side income. 5. Make yourself marketable to the businesses you want to work with. Want to be a food creator? You need to be making high quality food videos in your town. Want to work with fashion brands? Your content needs to reflect the style of clients you want your work with. 6. Take time to study other creators that are doing well. Take note of what you think they’re doing well. 7. Your page needs to look like a creator page, not necessarily a personal page. If you want to work with brand, YOU yourself have to be a brand. 8. Stop caring what everyone thinks. That’s the biggest hurdle for most people. Yes, people are going to talk about you, that’s the name of the game. They can continue to talk about you when you make way more money than them from posting content that THEY are consuming on the internet. 9. Practice, practice practice. You’re going to have to do a lot of content for free, offer to make free content for some local business and start building a name for yourself and a portfolio. 10.
