Lab Grown Diamonds :
People buy the brand and experience, same goes for where you bought that mined stone. Same goes for anything you buy whether it’s skincare, clothes, or electronics. People are not going to put off their purchase for a year to wait for the prices to go down because they want to buy in the moment. The price is what you pay to get that satisfaction of having it right now. Note: tvs have decreased in price for years and no one bats an eye. They just get the next upgrade when they can and that’s what will happen here.

There’s an African creator on here (can’t remember her name) who said that many of the African countries that supply mined diamonds have recently gotten more autonomy and revenue over the entire process, which allowed them to have more money for their workers/communites. She said it was disheartening to see that as soon as they got their power back from the diamond companies, lab created diamonds started flooding the market causing them to lose profits. It was a very interesting take that I haven’t heard anyone else comment on.
