close vent valve and run smoke from the purge valve hose that goes to the charcoal canister. never open fuel cap first, that may be leaking. introducing smoke to gas cap when its leaking, its going to be a bit more difficult to properly diagnose.

I will say with the car I have the easy gas cap which doesn’t have a lock or anything just a easy access for a gas pump that is also a cause of it most flex fuel cars

If it's Chrysler just replace the leak detection pump and gas cap. 99 out of a 100 you'll solve the problem. 🤣

99 times out of 100 it ran the test when your gas cap was loose or off, so make sure your gas cap is tight, clear the code and if it returns then go find the leak.
