These are at EVERY function in Utah. Funerals, birthdays, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, hell even a random BBQ in someone's backyard.

My aunt calls them $100 potatoes. She won a contest at a local fair. She was given $25 but lied to my uncle because it cost her $42 in groceries to make them.

Our version has cheese on top instead of corn flakes, and I like adding diced ham. Served with a salad it's a delicious meal. 😀

I make this all the time for dinner! Usually with steak bites and broccoli. But I use Frosted Flakes instead of corn flakes. Gives it a hint of sweetness ♥️

Sprinkler a little more cheese on top and then layer the corn flakes on top of that. Go fully Mormon. We usually serve it with a ham.

I used shredded hash browns and instead of corn flakes I use French onions and you need to add salt and pepper.
