as a former dasher, I would also get irritated at this. like I picked up their food first why would I not drop theirs off first?! thankfully I had nice heat bags but still that shit would make me mad too lol

1. we dont choose the order of delivery it creates a route 2. if we decline the second order offer it effects our acceptance rate which hurts our ratings giving us less earning opportunities 3. sometimes the offers come together and we dont have a choice but to accept both because its one offer

Crazy thought- you want hot food, get it or make it yourself. most people dashing are barely scraping by and are hardly ever the reason your food quality is bad. tip more or do it yourself if you want heat n speed

The app auto populates the higher tipper to go first, as well as if someone placed for priority delivery. There's your answer, as a doordasher.

This isn’t the sole reason why I tip after but it’s one reason why I usually tip after(mostly because tips are based on service so I’m not tipping you before knowing what to base it off of??)😭

The concept works for pizza delivery because you get to be automatically routed or choose the closest house first. Makes no sense for dashers going to a WHOLE different restaurant 💀
