Bonus: lets you know when someone is leaving. I was babysitting a little boy once and he snuck away from playing with my 2 boys and tried to go out the front door to play in the front yard. My bells let me know the door was opened and I was able to catch him before he got off the porch.

I have banty chickens they let me know if anyone or anything comes in my yard or anywhere near my property day or night and my black hens absorb any negative energies they have been used in various folk traditions, the use of black chickens to absorb negative energies or illness has been documented for centuries, dating back to at least the medieval period in Europe and even earlier in some parts of Asia.
