Not to be THAT GUY, but I’m betting many of these companies aren’t selling less AND making more of a profit but rather trying to keep the price low but selling less and making the same profit. It’s probably not everyone but I’m sure many are like that.

I couldn’t find a good bag of frozen broccoli- but they had a bunch of FULL price bags of broccoli “CUTS” which is literally a bag of the waste STEMS. They marketed it like it was a fun new delicacy! 😒🤨

I've stopped buying so much stuff because of this. It's the principal. More people need to stop buying it. I understand for some things it's not always optional but a lot of this stuff is very much optional. I love walking by it in the store and seeing the shelf full because nobody's buying it anymore. And it's not just smaller quantity, they're switching out ingredients and reducing the quality.
