Yall being an only child may seem good but it doesn’t, youll find yourself making imaginary siblings and wondering what life would be if you have siblings to share your stuff with. I’d rather have a siblings to fight with everyday. (I know it sounds crazy but Its better than feeling so alone all the time, especially when your parents were always busy with work..)

As an only child, I absolutely adore my alone time. It definitely helped me being able to have an imagination and figuring things out on my own, which is perfect for when you are an adult. I do find it hard to find a response when someone tells me, “I wish I was an only child”, because what do I respond to that. Reading the comments I realized some people don’t like being alone, but I always enjoyed it, and now that I’m older I feel like it’s a similar thing to sitting at home and enjoying watching a movie by myself, cooking for myself, and I get to choose what I want, with the freedom of knowing it’s me vs me, when choosing something.

i grew up w a brother and when my mom died we both just went with our dads it's so weird bc i grew up with a sibling and then spent my teenage years alone 😭😭😭
