My honest theory is that the consciousness of Abstracted people fuel the AI. Notice how in episode two Caine said he got a better Ai for the NPCs. But C&A couldn't be the ones who provided this. And I doubt Caine can do that by himself. But keep in mind that this happened right after Kaufmo abstracted, so he would be the only fuel for the NPCs. This probably happened to the other abstracted people.

I definitely agree, and what if the angel was kingers wife, because if you think about the the “eyes” within the angel is just another process of getting abstracted, erasing every part of you including color, furthering the obscureness of physical, and the angel and abstracted were left in the dark, allowing them to remember/recollect themselves. And if you about the long terms affects of being left in the dark you would possibly slowly start to regain more humanoid characteristics but still afflicted with negative aspects (not being able to communicate; physical aspect is code is also sound). And the show plays a lot of light and dark, kinger being the creator “light” and Caine being “dark” npc/ai, and use what I’ve told you to look deeper with the angel and it screaming,

The possessed pomni tried to leave cause anyone would try to leave the hall of the damed, and we don’t even know if Kaufmo knows about kingers wife, I have idea for the spirit asking about kingers wife. We now know that the characters have the ability to create things with their imagination in the circus, what if since kinger was in the dark, and certain circumstance, kinger was thinking of his past (regretful past confirmed in episode 6). Making kinger make bad spirits talk about his bad past.

I got another theory to add I haven't heard anyone talk. so cain was lying about not being able to mess with memory, proven twice, and kinger is the longest there but can't remember anything! I think it was this episode or the one before, he makes a comment about so many years in computer science for this. WHAT IF, cain realized he can manipulate memory and knew they could create things, so he made kinger lose his memory/be crazy, but it fails when he's not able to see kinger ie. the dark places and cain's very early comment about having eyes everywhere (kinda weird cause when pomni entered the void area scene he didn't seem to know about everything till then and can cure the abstraction which is debatable on how far it can be cureable). in the latest episode with guns, kinger froze when bubble was there with the camera and he froze realizing that, which adds a spin off that kinger is purposely crazy to keep cain less suspicious of him... just a theory, a digital circus theory ;P
