Not many other options for women suffering with endometriosis, I’d rather be constipated for a week rather than deal with endometriosis pain 😭

doctors are always amazed that I have no pain meds but everyone else wants more and more
I see the pain is there for a reason with pain meds take it away how do I know its gone completely

as a nurse for 20 plus years it's easier to manage bowels then pain. we dont want people stopping their pain regime. it's not painful to have a microlax enema. lactulose. coloxyl and senna or movicol are pain free

Sarah investigates 🔎 :
Opioid induced constipation (OIC) is nothing new, and yet no GP I've ever spoken to has been aware that it requires a specific treatment, not just a laxative. A PAMORA actually prevents the impact of opioids in the bowel, rather than just softening things up and flipping you from constipation to diarrhea. I had to print out information for my doctor to convince them to prescribe the proper treatment.

Magnesium citrate and Metamucil daily and lots of vegetables, are how I combat that. I can’t live without the pain management, and I’m allergic to most other pain meds.
