I'm a retired senior non-commissioned officer and I can tell you that this message certainly applies to a lot of people that are transitioning out of the military and into the civilian world as well but thank you for sharing a story

Yes and no guys...38 years in management earned me...me...alot of respect. Since retired, there are still alot of people that recognize me in much the same way and in some aspects even better. Respect is earned by the individual not the title.
