I felt this. For me, it coincided with when I published my first novel (which was around the same time I started TT). For years people encouraged me to write/publish, but then when i actually DID the damn thing... lets just say it whittled my friends list down quite a bit. Hell of a learning curve.

Sometimes I feel that when friends follow you and see your posts every day, it creates the illusion of contact. Almost like they’ve already had a conversation with you just by watching your content. But in reality, that can make the real connection fade.
