I explained how hurtful and selfish It was was my MIL asked me to pump….. and even then she swore up and down “It was just to give you a break”. She doesn’t get it to this day. Due with #2 in a week and already nervous about PP again. 🙃

Struggling with a tongue tie and post partum my mom said “maybe breast feeding just isn’t for you” 🖕🏻 my mil took me to my lactation apts 😊

I breastfed until they started unbuttoning my shirt at 1 year. My mom told me, she wasn't given the option, they gave her a shot and said formula was better. She fully supported me.

I watch your videos and want to send them all to my mom and in laws. We’re barely a week into having our first baby (with complications during delivery and getting home) and we’ve gotten attacked bc we didn’t do or communicate in the way they pictured. We got threatened today to be cut out of the will if we don’t do what they say “fit the next one” when we don’t care about getting money. We just want love. I feel so used and that I was only a means to get a grandchild . they don’t care how this affects my pp. I just want our little family to run away and disappear I’m so heartbroken.

Good advice that should be heeded. I’m still pissed 23 years later that my MIL projected her inability to nurse on me- harassing me to drink some weird tea that didn’t even help her- then telling all the women on my husband’s side I had no milk for the first 2 kids. The list is long. Best ever postnatal period- after baby and c-section #4- she didn’t come, what a gift! 🎁

I had to go out to my car to feed my daughter when we'd visit for holidays because my MIL didn't like that I was breastfeeding and wouldn't offer me a private place to feed when we were there.
