How do you know about the American belief systems? Have you been to America and lived in America. Who perceives Black Britts to have better knowledge? African American women collectively are considered the most educated among race/gender groups in the U.S., both in terms of degree attainment and educational attainment rate. Black Americans—especially Black women outpace their UK counterparts in percentage of adults holding degrees. For Black Brits the overall attainment is lower, and precise figures are unavailable. Also in America, more education correlates with liberalism rather than conservatism and right wing ideologies. That is why a certain President stated he loved the poorly educated 😒. Also the UK and America are not direct reflections they are parallel but distinct societie sometimes aligned, sometimes divergent. In America being more degreed does tend to lean towards more critical thinking

Whilst I think this is true, there is also the aspect of elitism from immigrants home countries. For example, I am Nigerian and classism and elitism is a very big issue back home.

Black British are just Africans or Caribbean, most of yall are more connected to your ethnic culture than British culture, so black British culture doesn’t exist like how African American culture. It’s just Nigerian , Jamaican etc (I’m not American)

Per your point abt justifying intervention because of “knowing better”- You can’t be more right. That’s an immediate recall to Macaulay’s Minute which established the notion of the “civilizing mission” which undergirded/justified a lot of the colonialist mission. It was a mindset as much as it was a strategy.
