I use to think defund the police was absolutely insane, nowadays I believe it's the only way to reform law enforcement, make them pay for lawsuits not us

don't forget: "officer safety reasons" is the form of teaching police officers that every citizen is out to hurt them. every one of them sees it as "us vs them" they do not see any of us as equals to them.
