Look up Illinois congressional districts- that's blatant gerrymandering. The Texas. redraw was Court ordered from a 2021 lawsuit, fyi. If you look at it it looks like it has a logical progression based on population density - a brick wall sort of layout. The Illinois one looks like silly string has been sprayed across it. Texas also has a substantial increase in population, many coming from California, so that's a significant factor.

Nobody should be gerrymandering regardless of party. Its literally just open corruption because it reduces the voting power of the taxpayers involved for purely political purposes. The system falls apart if both party's are desperately and illegally trying to undermine one another.
