See the joy doesn’t stand the test of time though. It’s so incredibly fulfilling in the moment, like I was BORN to be on the computer. But when I reflect on my life each year, I don’t reminisce on the feeling I got from games anymore. It doesn’t capture in memories like it just feels like time wasted. It absolutely did back when I was a kid playing with friends, but now I only play solo games lol. Eats away at your life it’s not worth it

I’ll be sober 4 years from alcohol in November. I thought there was no way I’d be able to play games once I got sober because it’s all I did. I drank and played games. I was a functional alcoholic so I got work done and all that. But I’d get sloshed and play games and oh my god it’s still the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. I still play my computer all the time, but I can actually do it sober which is something I thought for sure I wouldn’t be able to do. Anyways, completely agree with the video 👌
