I drink a ton of caffine and I EP, it doesn’t seem to effect my LO. I’ve heard the taste of food transfers but my milks almost always just sticky and sweet. The color for me only changes with the change in fat content. I also LOVE spicy food and that doesn’t seem to bother her either.

Eat a diverse, balanced diet. Visual differences in milk can be most likely attributed to micronutrients. Foremilk/hindmilk is the same milk, it simply means the milk progressively gets more fatty as the feed goes on. Estimates for caffeine range from 0.06-1.5% of the maternal dose, with actual impact being minimal for most. You can eat spicy food.

I actually heard babies don’t taste spice like we do ( like birds lol) BUT I think it can mess with their stomach.. All I know is my kiddo was OBSESSED with buffalo chicken nuggets when he was a baby like 10+ months old. He obv didn’t eat them often, but i remember being SHOCKED 🤣

My kids would scream and cry uncontrollably if I had mexican food (even mild) the day before. I always had to pump and toss the milk for a day

I feel like maybe eggs too. Because I remember eating scrambled eggs then pumping and my milk smelt straight up like eggs. I made my husband smell it. 🤣
