The light was soft, the clouds rolled in like a dream, and we got those iconic crater views without the chaos. 📍Haleakalā National Park, Maui 🕒 No reservation needed for sunset — only required for sunrise 🎟️ $35 entrance fee (valid for 3 days that covers the summit district and the Kīpahulu District beyond Hana) or free if you use your national park pass 🧥 Bring layers, it gets cold fast (yes, even in Hawaii!) 📸 Golden hour and post-sunset are chef’s kiss 🚗 Give yourself time… it takes about 2 hours to drive from most parts of Maui 🥾 Come earlier during the day if you plan for hiking trails or exploring around the crater 🍘 pack some light snacks to share with your partner while enjoying the view!
