@heather_ramos: I lost my Mom in 2019 to multiorgan failure caused by Gabapentin. It was one of the scariest times of my life… not only because I lost her, but because I was also prescribed the same medication for my own medical issues. Now I share awareness of the dangerous side effects that so many of us (myself included) don’t always pay attention to—because we’re just trying to stay alive. Her life and her passing pushed me to fight for a different quality of life. Along the way, I’ve been blessed to help others—by sharing how I combat things naturally, reminding them that God still has a plan, and sometimes just offering laughter through tears when there’s nothing else you can do.
