CJ I don't disagree with you on much but the Belt Road Initiative is the alternative that African states have to US imperialism particularly thru states like Kenya. Kenyan locals have stated themselves that they are much better off with Chinese loans which are fair trade and often forgiven. Anarchism presumes that the principal contradiction in the world is states when it is actually capitalism and especially it's highest form; imperialism. China is not in possession of any proxy states which makes this take immaterial and counter to dialectical materialism.

If China really did those reforms to boost their economy and get new tech then they already achieved their goals, they could switch to a socialist mode of production already, but their Xi talks about opening up further, they allow more and more billionaires to pop up, they completely abandoned the global revolutionary movement to stay neutral and have an easier time trading
