Mohammed :
For those who really want to understand — not just argue for nothing…
In Arabic, the word god is ilah, and the name of this ilah is Allah. Allah sent many messengers to different people at different times — Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus, and finally Mohammed ﷺ.
Allah told Mohammed that he would be the last messenger, and He gave him a book called the Qur’an. Allah Himself promised to protect this book until the Day of Judgment, so no one can change even a single letter of it. That’s why the Qur’an has stayed exactly the same for more than 1400 years — not a single mistake has been found in it, even by those who tried, including the Arabs themselves.
We also believe in the Bible, but we believe it’s been changed over time — that’s why you see so many different versions today. As for the Old Testament, we believe in it as well and we follow what was originally revealed in it.
The Qur’an, however, is different: Allah promised to protect it, and that’s why it’s the only book that has stayed pure and unchanged. Translations are available in all languages, so nobody has an excuse not to look at it at least once. On the Day of Judgment, when we meet Allah, you can’t say: “I didn’t know.” At least you could say: “I read the book, but I found this mistake, and that’s why I didn’t accept the religion.”
By the way, the word Muslim is Arabic and simply means “one who submits to God.” That’s why the Qur’an says all prophets were Muslims — they all submitted to God and believed in Him as the only true God, including Jesus.
