if a petition was signed she has to go in for a mental hold. it was out of the cops hands at that point. to get one signed there had to have been some proof she needed to be taken. it is sad there was not a crisis team there however if she was unwilling the cops would have been called out to help regardless.

She calls the police multiple times to get her keys but then they make her go to the hospital. You can tell by her body language and demeanor she suffers from some mental health issues - that could stem from her toxic mother. There is more to this story. It's BS that she was charged. Police need to be better trained about mental health.

I am so thankful our state and county has the BEAR Team. No police involved, just mental health people. That girl is telling the truth.
