They know they can’t ask you for a doctors note it’s got to be more than three days and if you got a health inspector just pop in randomly and knows that you’re ill with a stomach virus you’re allowed to be near food for 48 hours manager would be fired

one time I was on a call with my boss and I told her at the beginning that myself and another coworker weren't feeling too great earlier in the day. I guess my body was determined to prove a point because about 10 minutes into the call I started with the most gut wrenching, loudly burping heaving ever. it was embarrassing, but she quickly realized I was indeed sick and probably not showing up the next day 😂

My sister was a waitress years ago and her boss did this to her. She sent him the toilet pics and bucket pics because stuff was coming out of her from all ends. He wrote her up and she went to corporate, then quit 3 weeks later because she found a little office job that's she's now the VP of. 🤣
