This isn’t ‘getting high’ it’s a sign of stress and pain. Cribbing (air swallowing) is often linked to ulcers, mouth pressure, and suffering. Horses don’t do this for fun this is real harm.

we had a horse that did this cribbing she was able to get through a 6 inch piece of woods in like a month. and we tried every to stop her nothing worked

Yes and its very dangerous because they can die from it and they can do it infront of other horses so they become addicted aswell

It’s called cribbing and my horse does it he has a cribbing collar so he doesn’t get high

NoNoNoNoNo.😳 If a horse is biting wood, it needs one or more of the following: more forage, more exercise, mental stimulation, and reduced stress. The wood chewing is most often a sign of boredom or frustration rather than a nutritional deficiency. Or your horse is cribbing.

Seen people use their hand to do this and the horses always lean in hard. It reduces stress for them and relaces their jaw muscles. Anyways, yall play far cry 5? I started a few days ago and im hooked 😁. I still like Primal more but this is good too.
