@meghannmcuniff: Alleged murder matriarch Donna Adelson's lawyer Jackie Fulford spent about five minutes cross-examining hitman Luis Rivera on Friday (August 22, day 1), and she screwed up his name twice. She called him “Mr. Garcia,” mixing him up with his cohort and childhood friend, Sigfredo Garcia, who fired the two gunshots that killed Adelson’s former son-in-law Dan Markel in July 2014. Rivera pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 19 years in prison. His testimony in Adelson’s trial didn’t directly implicate Donna and instead implicated her daughter Wendi, who was Markel’s ex-wife and had two young sons with him.
