I've been to Lake Tahoe, Lake George, and Torch Lake. Lake Tahoe cold but beautiful. Torch lake the best of the 3, looks almost tropically turquoise

I am on Lake George almost daily and I’ve never been able to see the bottom of the lake unless at shore. It is far from Crystal clear

Lake George is very underrated, it's absolutely stunning! One of the freshest waters I've swam in. I've never been to Lake Tahoe, definitely on my list
