YESSS like if the xenomorphs only attacked the exact same way 100% of the time i think it would be boring and take the intrigue away, whereas hermit is acting differently than other humans who are absolutely crashing out in fear, and it makes it 10000% scarier that the xeno would notice and treat him differently, almost like a cat playing with a mouse

I think the Xeno does not want to take a threat head on. That’s why he doesn’t go after Morrow or attack Wendy directly. He can’t risk taking damage.

I wasn’t sold on the show until episode 3. I’ve casually watched all the movies but I really didn’t get that the companies were characters until the last movie and this show. They took his lung to use as an experiment!

yeah I don't like that critique. I'm still feeling iffy on the show though. I think the kid subplot is probably what is most distracting to me.

I see what you’re saying. They should then write the story better to be more realistic and giving less needed plot armor to the characters. Great show

I actually love the kid angle so many seem to hate- the original alien was an allegory for rape, I think bringing in the challenging topics like grooming and questionable morals around children are right up the alley of the alien movies concept of bodily invasion and alienation with the kids
