Haven’t finished yet, I do feel bad for Ally, it’s not her fault she’s the result of an affair and that her parents are horrid but I do understand why OP feels all of this. There’s literally no winning for OP her family are a bunch of manipulative hypocrites

guys literally as soon as she said that ally’s mother in the past refused to help her because “theyre not family” she didn’t need to take Ally in. don’t feel bad for someone who’s own mother expects everything and gives nothing, her mother set this system up and made it clear theyre not family, so why should OP act like they’re a happy family

For people who are like “why doesn’t OP give Ally some slack” clearly grew up with loving parents. OP is so relatable as someone who has a young brother who is only 2 and I’m 19 and I really want nothing to do with this kid. My dad had always brought babies into this world (3 baby mamas) and he leaves immediately unable to take care of them. He’s also traumatized me and my siblings and is awful person. I can’t say that I hate him all the way but I can’t help but look at this kid and genuinely hate him. I want nothing to do with him and the more my family tries to push this kid onto me it’s more frustrating. So please it’s not as easy as it is to get along with some random kid your dad just showed up with.
