You need to go to the lease office again. I'd keep going until they finally give you the lease and transfer paperwork. If you don't keep bugging them it seems clear they'll just let it fall through the cracks.

Thank you for the video answer to my question! I have lived in a duplex for 6 years and a year ago it was sold and the new landlords emailed saying they would be sending a new lease shortly... never got a thing. So basically I'm month to month.🙄🙄🙄 Good luck!

I wouldn’t wait much longer. Especially if the apartment is still showing available online I’d be concerned because that means anyone else could go and apply for it, if they do applications online. So just be cautious of that and if that’s the case I’d definitely go down to the office to try and get this taken care of. Also you’re not technically locked into that rate until you sign a lease either. If they keep dropping the ball you might have to reach out to the corporate office which you should be able to find out that info online through the management company’s site. I’d hate that it would have to go there but they’re kind of bringing it upon themselves.

I would recommend either having your camera in your pocket and do a video recording or an audio recording when you go into the office. This way you’re covering your own butt.

Idk I feel like if u wait any more even with 20days it could get worse especially with the track record with the new company being so suspect so far i would chance id go there and chase things upand get things in writing as much as possible so even if u do decided to go to the front desk get them to send u email of the convo of who ever u speak to there and then as wel so there is a paper trail kus this is crazy it's not something u can kinda wait and see what happens because they already messed up soo much so far I hate to say it but u may have to try go karen type behaviour but not like a rude over the top ur attacking me when no ones even put a finger on u way but I need to speak to the top kinda way as it feels like they are blowing u off and either they are really not good at their job or are hoping that they can charge u what ever the hell they want kus u need some where to go and they gonna mess up so much that by the time crunch time comes ur gonna be desperate especially where u said in the last vid that their emails are all noreply emails as well xx haha sorry I'm kinda drunk and when I reread my 1st comment it didn't make sense so deleted and edited it in notes hope this makes more sense lol xx
