You need to try adding lipids inside the hair instead of a just coating it. The IUVENI Lipid Layer Quencher is amazing

If your hair if that bad you should get a good haircut and a trim every 3-4 month. My hair felt like a straw and that what I do. Not only does my hair grow it also feels soft and I let my grays grow out.
