Get a small piece of 1” pipe and a coupling. Pipe side knocks the seal out coupling side seats it back

you dont have to take off the capacitor to access the motor shaft , just use wrench

The metal side of the shaft seal going into the seal plate should be siliconed in place and let dry before use. You do not use magic lube on that half of the seal.

Pro tip to anyone watching! If you’re replacing the seal and you don’t have a socket you can you a 1” pvc coupling. It’s a perfect fit and we’ve used them for years!
