Agreed. However, being clear does not prevent misinterpretation. How many times has your partner asked you, “What are you thinking about?” and you clearly told your partner, “nothin. Just relaxing” and they interpreted that as, “he’s mad at me”, “I did something wrong”, “he doesn’t care about me”, etc… 😂 I can yield that the “God has been clear” argument is weak, but can you admit that the “If God has been clear, then why do we have so many interpretations” argument is weak as well? We can’t even agree on what “right to bear arms” means. Humans are gonna human and being clear doesn’t mean squat to us 😅 We’re gonna read into whatever we can to suit our fancy.
