if you do earthing like this how do you do your inspection chamber which is also a requirements in the IET regulations.? in a TT earthing system the regulations permits up to 200 Ohms, and it recommends RCD as a compulsory measure to control the leakages. it will save you from all this stress sir. my humble opinion though but I have quoted my authorities I can give you further and better particulars

we made one here in Jamaica but we weld the copper rods to form the mat and the hole was about 6 feet deep , the ground wire is also connected to a galvanized steel rod on the roof of the house to arrests lightning strikes .. 👍🏿🇯🇲
