I was adopted by my grandparents, both passed, the bio lady(their daughter) tried twice to get me back but failed because I refused to live with her. She holds that against me through adulthood. Let’s say when she pass, I’m not attending her funeral.

SAME! We’re catholic but this woman goes to church every single Sunday, prays a rosary every single day. Which has made me struggle with connecting with my faith. But my mom constantly talks shit about my father’s side of the family and other people and smiles in their face. My mom use to do that to me, but I learned to ignore her. And when you ignore them it hurts them. So she knew that whatever she told me it didn't hurt me anymore. And it hurt her, because she knew she wasn't in control anymore.

My abuse was perpetuated by someone who was also an RN and it always made me wonder how she treated her patients or how she saw her patients because someone being in the medical field you would think that they would be more aware of mental health and what their actions or words Are doing to affect you and it always made me wonder how are other people treated in her care . anyways I hope you heal
