Some parts of Florida still look like this . Wide open fields , rivers , springs . I’ll never tell where. Luckily these newcomers are only crowding popular areas . If you’re from Florida think of a place that would never cross a tourist mind bc there’s “nothing to do out there” you’ll know exactly where I’m talking about 💗

There are a lot of people here but sometimes I think that Florida feels crowded precisely because there is so much wild space & grasslands & swamp that can’t be developed. I mean, the entire center of the state below Orlando is largely undeveloped with everyone squished onto the coastlines! That said, I live on the coast & our neighborhood still backs up to a 7,000 acre nature preserve.

Hi. I work in Florida Tourism.. I can honestly say that Tourism is #1 in Florida. Use to be citrus. It has pros/cons, however, it’s all investors & insurance companies that are to blame.

I’ve met northerners and other out of towners who actually have the nerve to ask me why is there so much traffic and it’s crowded🤨. I’m on the verge of telling them, you guys keep moving here making it that way. I won’t say this, but there’s likely a chance their new home or condo was built on a sinkhole. Florida natives have nothing to do with overpopulation in their own state
