the Christianity have even take our own spirituality, connected to the natur and ancestors. in my family they still have keep the spirituality from many generations but lot we have forgotten. I just try to bring it more back to my family. it feels so much more peacefully and strong, connected to the natur, ancestors and universe. the best energy

it was demonized to distract Africans from their cultural revolution,I often wonder how and why they say obeah is bad...when we have other cultures doing ritual and sacrificing animals etc how those are not being call bad...every culture has their own believes and I'm African and I believe that obeah is our ancestors chants and drums are our guides it's unique qualities to transform is wonderful ❤️the ancestors chants are the best feeling in the world we feel it in our veins....I want to no so much more about my ancestors 👌👌💯✅

They understand that our spritual beliefs created by our Ancestors gives us power. They sent missionaries to tell us everything we believed was no good and negative and all their religious indoctrination created by Europeans was better. Unfortunately the Ancestors believed them. We have forgotten who we are and who we must be. We have been on the bottom in every society every since we accepted their Godspell.

There are not enough words to even begin to correct the wrongs done to such a beautiful community. I grew up in Del Paso Heights in Sacramento, CA. I was adopted into a family that should have never been allowed to adopt. I am the woman I am today because of the women and men of the Black and Latino community. I walked away from the YT man's God. I walked away from racism. I embrace the ancestors, and they aren't YT. Thank you for influencing my life in such a positive manner. I know my skin color comes with privilege and I hate that. So I use it to speak out at the injustices that keep rearing its ugly head. I believe in equality and that begins with apologies and reparations. Beautiful music choice.
