I love adding lentils to bulk up my food. I made shepherds pie with just lentils. Kids hated it so next time half ground beef, half lentils. Saves money, reduces saturated fat, adds fibre and everyone was happy.😊

I just found your page and I'm trying to learn everything I can! we have a small fridge so I'm not sure about shopping once a month quite yet. but I love your ideas to keep ingredients separate as leftovers for different dishes. I've never had lentils before, what kind of texture do they have?

Curious why you don’t go every two weeks? Is it to stay more on track and less impulse buy or really for the dislike of shopping? I just did theee grocery stores to save money. They were all in the same shopping complex so I didn’t waste gas driving around.
