This is not the Stanley hotel, the Stanley was the inspiration for The Shining, and the movie was shot at the Timberline lodge, and the interiors were shot at a studio.

It’s the Stanley hotel, which inspired the shining and when Steven King made his own shining, separate from the Stanley Kubrick version he used the Stanley hotel not the Timberline Lodge

That’s awesome. Seeing this makes me want to see a horror themed Lego convention just to see what people build. I guarantee you will get some very talented people that will make lifesize Lego models of horror characters and such

Love this but I don’t know how you do all that work and leave out the snow drift below the window. Would be better if there were less figures and much more snow everywhere to fit the vibe of seclusion and isolation. But overall very awesome. A few tiny tweaks and it could be perfect.
