After her and jer call off the wedding, I think that a few months will pass and jer will visit belly in Paris and apologize to her and tell her it’s ok to be with Conrad . Then , jer flies back home and tells Conrad to go to Paris to get belly back

yes exactly! I love when Chris mentioned in an interview how so many people want instant gratification that they don’t appreciate the arcs all the characters are going through. And he’s right. We have to give it time, there’s a story to tell. I get that way myself sometimes wanting the ending so bad but I also do appreciate how she’s telling the story and can’t wait to see how everything plays out

Wow, Cleveland was really an important character in that he explains to Laurel in Laurel's book, her narrator is unreliable (just like Belly is). He also told Conrad that he shouldn't be with someone before he is right with himself (just like Belly and Conrad end up needing to do). He's like the stories' foil character, sage figure, or mentor. cool!

I’ve struggled personally with the you need to be all good with yourself in order to be good with someone else. I have personal demons I struggle with ( none as deep as Conrad or Jere) but I have come to terms that I don’t have to be psychologically perfect in order to be in a healthy relationship. Now I’m generation X so I may think of things differently not sure but I get that Belly clearly needs growth and that Conrad for the most part did his working on himself. But I have changed and definitely feel I don’t have to have it All*** worked out in order to be with someone. Yes I agree we want the rush of it all wrapped up and Belly happily with Conrad. Agreed that we need some time. ❤️

I also think there’s room for there to be an ending where belly and Conrad are together while they both continue to find themselves. It disrupts the cycle of all characters going thru challenges on their own out of fear of burdening or leaning on their closest people.
