It’s become super trendy over the years, but why? 💛 For one, it always us to stay in tune with nature (how God intended) 💛 it allows you to build and create with your bare hands and in a world where technology is king, building a garden bed or a chicken coop all on your own is really empowering 💛 Autonomy & Ownership - no one is there telling you you screwed something up. Your watermelon plants die (that’s on you) you didn’t plant enough garlic (that’s on you) you rock at raising chickens (that’s also on you) you get to have OWNERSHIP in a world that has us renting and subscribing to everything. In a world where if you make a mistake it isn’t seen as a learning experience to improve it is then end of the world. 💛 the reality that every season isn’t going to be “your season” and you have to have the “winters” to get to “spring” and the “long hot summers” to get to cozy season and then you’re thankful for the long hot summers when you open the summer fruits (or vegetables) of your labor.
