it didn't work for me either. not every product is for everyone. try Ouidad Advanced Climate Control stronger hold gel, Rizos Curls Strong Hold Gel or What a Curl Wants. all of those give me a great cast and longevity. curl creams give great definition and help with longevity, and not a lot is needed. I love Ouai Curl cream, Ouidad Advanced Climate Control curl cream, and AG Care Recoil (emulsify this one in your hands). apply a small amount before gel (apply a lot of gel). chef's kiss with all of these.

Have you tried not your mothers flash freeze? It’s a super strong hold that gives a strong cast.

Innersense I create hold is one of the strongest hold gels there is. You need to work it into sections of your hair, not just glaze it over. And use more gel.

I have found that in order to work I gotta apply in small sections and with LOTS of water, it gets messy and slimy but it works

Try Big Poppa from the doux. It’s nit perfect but it’s the best home I’ve got. Also their foam is great. I have every product available I think.

My hair has the same kind of pattern as yours. Big soft curls that just drop so quickly. I’d like to get hold without my hair feeling like wire 😏

that is one of my 2 must have gels! I do layer it with another gel though. I also do the innersense I create volume mousse and the hair spray. then diffuse
