Okay I would seriously pay someone actual real life money on venmo if they could compile a giant list of restaurants/cafes with good FOOD under $30ish bucks with easy access to seating, LOTS of outlets, and where it's socially acceptable to be on a laptop the whole time and stay for hours at the table. All in and around KC/OP.
