There isnt one female over 4-10 in my family. We were offered growth hormones for my kids but we declined. I second giess it all the time but the kids tell me i made the right decision

I used to be 5ft9.5inches...just recently was measured at the doctor as 5ft8 😬 definitely in perimenopause, didn't know that this was something that would happen

I started my period at 10 but kept growing steadily until I was 18 - grew an additional 14cm & hit 175cm, I'm now 42 at about 173ish

My mom used to take a 2yr olds height and double it to calculate adult height. She wasn't ever off.

I got my period around 9 and I asked my dr at the time how much more i’m gonna grow and she was like “well you probably aren’t going to grow much normally you’ll stop around a year after your first period maybe a half an inch or so at the most would be my guess” and i got mad at her and asked her how she is going to tell a kid they arent going to grow anymore isnt that what kids do grow?? 😭😂 she was right lol, did not grow since 😂😭

there is talk that perimenopause causes frozen shoulder pain. can it cause pain in the hip/ sciatica area?

Gonna be 48 in a few months, I thought i was about 5'4. But recently my doctor measured my height and I'm 5'3. My mom teased me saying "Did you shrink", lol. 🤷♀️

Why has no one told me this? I have told many people (drs) how I don’t want to shrink. Is there anything to help prevent it? (My birth mom, her mom, great grandma all shrunk, not just a little bit at least 2-3”)

My son reached 6 ft at 14. He didn’t grow anymore after that. He needed surgery for a broken hand at 15 and he was told his growth plates were already closed.
