I met an older dark skin man who straight up told me that he’s glad he had light skin daughters because they were all married and their black husbands provided for them and loved them to death. He claims he didn’t want dark skin daughters like his brother because they were all unmarried, abused, used, and had kids out of wedlock. He said that his dark skin niece cried to him and said that the only black men she attracts are men who are under performers. So he proceeds to tell me that if I want my daughters to make it in life shoot for light skin daughters. So I asked him what about the sons and he said don’t worry about that because black men of any shade and get good women.

Naw I want the darkest daughter like me. Honestly a lot of darkskin women don’t want dark daughters due to what they experience from society. You noticed majority of interracial couples is usually a darkskin black women or men. I barely see lightskin women in interracial relationships.

One if these is this: they want their daughters to be preferred by Black men and have high probability of being coupled. This is often conscious but can be subconscious.
