Put a smoked ham hock in when you put the peanuts in. Got that tip from an old lady in central Florida who boiled and sold them from her front yard, sold out every time!

Us Mexicans do boiled peanuts too however we dont season them besides salt in the boil. However we do add lime, salt, and chile powder or chile sauce on top when we serve them. And man boiled peanuts are one of the best snacks to munch on.
