the story of mary in Qur'an, talks about how her mother was hoping for a son because she made a vow if god gives her a child she would give him to serve in the temple as a way to thank god. but she gave birth to a girl, so now her vow can't be fulfilled because girls don't serve in the temple and are not allowed in , but she (mary) ends up indeed serving in the temple despite everyone being against it. so if Mary is the blood sister of Aron (as the guy claims it means), the whole story about her mother praying to have a child and making a vow to give her child to serve at the temple is contradicting to that because her mother already has a male child that can easily go serve in the temple.
